1.100% Local Processing (The "Zero Cloud" Standard)
The technological core of Makaw PDF is our local processing architecture. When you use our tools to Merge, Split, Protect, Unlock, or Compress files, operations are executed directly in the memory and processor of your own device.
- We do not upload your documents to the cloud or external servers.
- We do not store copies of your files.
- We do not, and will not, have access to the content of your documents.
2.Data Collection
Given our strict focus on technical privacy:
File Content: Zero collection. What happens on your device, stays on your device in isolation.
Telemetry and Performance: We only collect basic and fully anonymized analytical data (such as technical application crash reports or tool usage frequencies) for the sole purpose of improving software stability. This technical information is not linked to your personal identity or the metadata of your files.
3.Third Parties and Advertising
We do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties. Makaw PDF is designed as a premium productivity product, free of invasive advertising trackers that compromise your computer's performance or the confidentiality of your work environment.
4.Security Responsibility
By operating under a strictly local processing model, the custody and physical/logical security of the resulting files rests with the user. We recommend keeping your operating system up to date and using the encryption tools integrated in our application to protect sensitive documents before sharing them.
5.Modifications to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect new features or improvements in the Application's architecture. Any material change will be transparently notified through the Application's interface.
